AS516

The AS516 is short for TAAS5162 which designed as one kind of 2 x 210 watt stereo digital amplifier power stage. It has an innovative protection system integrated on-chip, safeguarding the device against a wide range of fault conditions that could damage the system and is capable of driving a 6-W bridge-tied load (BTL) at up to 210 W per channel at THD = 10%, low integrated noise at the output, low THD+N performance without clipping, and low idle power dissipation.

Features of the AS516 are:(1)intelligent gate drive;(2)EMI compliant when used with recommended system design;(3)error reporting;(4)integrated self-protection circuits including undervoltage, overtemperature, overload, short circuit;(5)power-on reset for protection on power up without any power-supply sequencing;(6)high-efficiency power stage (>90%) with 80-mW output MOSFETs;(7)<0.09% THD+N at 1 W;(8)>110 dB SNR.
