APB-6

MODEL APB-6, Band-Pass Filter is a three pole pair filter which has a maximum voltage output over a specified frequency range. Typical frequency characteristics are shown on Fig. 2 a & 2b. This filter is particularly useful when a three pole pair staggered tuned filter is required (Fig 2a) or if it is required to discriminate between i to 3 discrete frequencies (fig. 2b). No external adjustments are needed but readily accessible internal trimmers are available for precision tuning and gain adjust. Bandpass center frequency range(2Hz-30KHz), bandpass center frequency gain(±0.3Db, non inverting adjustable internally to 0Db).

Model APN-6 Band-Reject filter is a three pole pair filter which has a minimum voltage output over a specified frequency range, and unity gain in the passband. Typical frequency characteristics are shown on Fig. 3a, & 3b. APB-6 is particularly useful when a three pole pair staggered tuned bandreject filter is required (Fig. 3a) or if it is required to suppress 1 to 3 discrete frequencies (Fig. 3b). No external adjustments are needed but readily accessible internal trimmers are available for precision frequency adjust and notch depth adjust. Bandpass center frequency range(2Hz-30KHz), attenuation in bandreject (40-50 Db), passband frequence rang(DC-100KHz).

The electrical characteristics of them are input impedance(20 kohm), output impedance(less than 1 ohm), maximum signal level 8 Volt RMS, max. load 8 volt RMS signal 2,500 ohm, max. load .8 volt RMS signal 50 ohm, power supply drain ±35 ma, frequency stability 0.005%/, DO offset 5 mV adjustableexternally, noise(input shorted) 70 microvolt RMS (DC - 100 KHz), operating temperature 0-50. The options for them: 1. External frequency tuning over 1:10 frequency range (3 resistors required.) Model APB-6-1, APN-6-1; 2. Low power option; power supply drain ±3 ma. Model APB-6L, APN-6L; 3. High temperature option -55-125 add suffix"M". Additional 6 pole characteristics available: 6 pole low-pass; 6 pole high pass; butterworth, tchebyscheff bessel as well as ellyptic filters can be supplied.
