The AM29F020-120JC has the following features including (1) two full function serial ports;(2)programmable baud rate generator;(3)modem control circuitry .

The boot block architecture includes parameter blocks to facilitate storage of frequently update small parameters that would normally require an EEPROM. By using software techniques, the byte-rewrite functionality of EEPROMs can be emulated. Each boot block component contains six parameter blocks of 4 k words (4 096 words) each. The parameter blocks are not write-protectable.The external voltage supply is connected to this pin. A high quality reservoir capacitor must be connected across pin 10 and Ground to achieve the specified output voltage parameters. A 10 mF/6.3 V, low ESR capacitor must be connected as close as possible across pin 10 and ground pin 7. The X5R ceramic types are recommended.There are two limitations on the power handling ability of a transistor: average junction temperature and second breakdown. Safe operating area curves indicate IC-VCE limits of the transistor that must be observed for reliable operation; i.e., the transistor must not be subjected to greater dissipation than the curves indicate.These are stress ratings only. Stresses exceeding the range specified under Absolute Maximum Ratings may cause substantial damage to the device. Functional operation of this AM29F020-120JC at other conditions beyond those listed in the specification is not implied and prolonged   exposure to extreme conditions may affect device reliability.
