Customers will only have to design one mounting for the AEDA-3200, for the various resolutions. Traditionally, encoders with different resolutions have different sizes, hence the need for different mounting designs.
Also, the AEDA-3200 module is an enabler for customers as an encoder engine to be designed into their end application. This gives the customers flexibility to develop different sizes, shapes and IP rated housings for their end application. With this concept, the customer's R&D and manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced.
Also, with the integrated line driver and industrial rated high operating temperature, the customers will not have to source for 3rd party components.
The AEDA-3200 is a module solution for incremental encoders, with resolutions from 2500 CPR to 7500 CPR. The module is designed for high resolution, high operating frequency and robust temperature applications. It is a single platform with breakthrough modular concept with the ability to serve all industrial market tiers and high resolution ranges in an ultra miniature package.
At resolutions of 7500 CPR, the AEDA-3200 has an operating frequency of 1MHz, at a rated operating temperatures between -40 to 125 Degree Celsius for the above stated conditions.The design of AEDA-3200 uses transmissive technology and produces a 3-channel output (A, B & I). The total package size is only Ø17mm x H24mm . This truly makes it one of the smallest module of high performance encoders in the market today.
