The ADS800U is designed as a low power, monolithic 12-bit, 40MHz analog-to-digital converter utilizing a small geometry CMOS process. This converter includes a 12-bit quantizer, wideband track/hold, reference and three-state outputs. It operates from a single +5V power supply and can be configured to accept either differential or single-ended input signals.
ADS800U has five features. (1)Low power which would be 390mW. (2)Internal reference. (3)Wideband track/hold would be 65MHz. (4)Single +5V supply. (5)Package 28-lead SOIC and 28-lead SSOP. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of ADS800U have been concluded as follow. (1)Its +Vs would be +6V. (2)Its analog input would be from 0V to Vs+300mV. (3)Its logic input would be from 0V to Vs+300mV. (4)Its case temperature would be +100°C. (5)Its junction temperature would be +150°C. (6)Its storage temperature would be +125°C. (7)Its external top reference voltage (REFT) would be max +3.4V.
