Description

The ADS7834P is designed as a 12-bit, sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) complete with sample-and-hold (S/H), internal 2.5V reference, and synchronous serial interface. Typical power dissipation is 11mW at a 500kHz throughput rate.

ADS7834P has nine features. (1)500kHz throughput rate. (2)2.5 internal reference. (3)Low power 11mW. (4)Single supply +5V operation. (5)differential input. (6)Serial interface. (7)Guaranteed no missing codes. (8)8-pin mini-DIP and MSOP. (9)0V to Vref input range. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of ADS7834P have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its +Vcc to GND would be from -0.3V to +6V. (2)Its analog inputs to GND would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its digital inputs to GND would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (4)Its power dissipation would be 325mW. (5)Its maximum junction temperature would be 150°C. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (8)Its lead temperature (soldering 10s) would be +300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
