Description

The ADS5444 is a 13-bit 250 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a 5 V supply, while providing LVDS-compatible digital outputs from a 3.3 V supply. The ADS5444 input buffer isolates the internal switching of the onboard track and hold (T&H) from disturbing the signal source. An internal reference generator is also provided to further simplify the system design. The product has outstanding low noise and linearity over input frequency.

This ADS5444 integrated circuit can be damaged by ESD. Texas Instruments recommends that all integrated circuits be handled with appropriate precautions. Failure to observe proper handling and installation procedures can cause damage.

ESD damage can range from subtle performance degradation to complete device failure. Precision ADS5444 integrated circuits may be more susceptible to damage because very small parametric changes could cause the device not to meet its published specifications.
