ADP1650

The ADP1650 is designed as one kind of 1.5 A LED flash driver device that can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)Camera-enabled cellular phones and smart phones; (2)Digital still cameras, camcorders, and PDAs. And this device comes in a compact 12-ball, 0.5 mm pitch package and operates within specification over the full −40°C to +125°C junction temperature range.

Features of the ADP1650 are:(1)Small, 2 mm * 1.5 mm, 12-ball WLCSP package; (2)Smallest footprint, 1 mm height, 1 H power inductor; (3)LED current source for local LED grounding; (4)Currents up to 200 mA in torch mode; (5)Programmable dc battery current limit (4 settings); (6)Programmable flash timer up to 1600 ms; (7)Low VBAT mode to reduce LED current automatically; (8)4-bit ADC for LED VF, die/LED temperature readback; (9)Thermal overload protection; (10)Inductor fault detection; (11)LED short-/open-circuit protection.
