The AD79024 is designed as LC2MOS 20-bit data acquisition system. It is particularly suitable for biomedical applications like ECG and EEG machines. The devices is capable of processing 4 channels with bandwidths up to 300Hz. Resolution is 20 bits and the usable dynamic range varies from 115dB with an input bandwidth of 18.75Hz to 90dB with an input bandwidth of 300Hz.

It has many features. The first one is 20-bit sigma delta ADC. The second one is on-chip low pass digital filter. The third one is five line serial I/O. The fourth one is easy interface to DSPs and microcomputers. The fifth one is software control of filter cut-off. The sixth one is ±5V supply. The seventh one is low power operation would be 50mW. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of AD79024 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its AVdd to AGND which would be from -0.3V to +7V. The second one is about its AVss to AGND which would be from +0.3V to -7V. The third one is about its AGND to DGND which would be from -0.3V to +0.3V. The fourth one is about its AVdd to DVdd which would be from -0.3v to +0.3V. The fifth one is about its analog inputs to AGND which would be from AVss-0.3V to AVdd+0.3V. The sixth one is about its Vref to AGND which would be from Vss-0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. The seventh one is about its digital inputs to DGND which would be from -0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. The eighth one is about its digital outputs to DGND which would be from -0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. The ninth one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -40°C to +85°C. The tenth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -65°C to +150°C. The eleventh one is about its lead temperature (soldering, 10sec) which would be +300°C. And so on.
