The AD592AN is designed as a two terminal monolithic integrated circuit temperature transducer that provides an output current proportional to absolute temperature. For a wide range of supply voltages the transducer acts as a high impedance temperature dependent current source of 1 mA/K. Improved design and laser wafer trimming of the IC's thin film resistors allows it to achieve absolute accuracy levels and nonlinearity errors previously unattainable at a comparable price.
AD592AN has eight features. (1) High precalibrated accuracy: 0.5°C max @ +25°C. (2) Excellent linearity: 0.158°C max (0°C to +70°C) (3) Wide operating temperature range: -25°C to +105°C. (4) Single supply operation: +4V to +30V. (5) Excellent repeatability and stability. (6) High level output: 1uA/K. (7) Two terminal monolithic IC: temperature in/ current out. (8) Minimal self-heating errors. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of AD592AN have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to +105°C. (2) Its package temperature range would be from -45°C to +125°C. (3) Its forward voltage would be max 44V. (4) Its reverse voltage would be max 20V. (5) Its lead temperature soldering 10 sec would be max 300°C.
