It is available in the standard 8-pin DIP and surface mount SOIC packages.The 93C46X comes as SOIC only. 93C06/46 family offer fast(1 ms) byte write and extended temperature operaiton. It is recommended that all other applications use Microchip;s 93LC46.
93C06/46 family have many unique features: The first one is low power CMOS technology. The second one is single 5 volt only operation. The third one is self-timed ERASE and WRITE cycles. The forth one is automatic ERASE before WRITE. The fifth one is data retention is longer than 40 years. The sixth one is 2 ms program cycle time,etc. There are some specifications about it. DC characteristics: Vcc detector threshold(VTH) is 2.8 V min and 4.5 V max. High level input voltage(VIH) is 2.0 V min and Vcc+1 V max . Low level input voltage(VIL) is -0.3 V min and 0.8 V max, High level output voltage(VOH) is 2.4 V min. Low level output voltage(VOL) is 0.4 V max when IOL is 3.2 mA. Stadnby current(ICCS) is 100 UA max when CS is 0 V and Vcc is 5.5 V .
