The 87C75PF is designed as microcontroller peripheral I/O port expander with 32K x 8 EPROM.

87C75PF has many features. The first one is 2 configurable 8-bit I/O ports which means open drain, quasi-bi-directional and CMOS. The second one is 32K x 8 EPROM with 200ns access time. The third one is quick pulse programming algorithm which means 4 second programming. The fourth one is configuration registers which means relocate EPROM in memory, relocate the SFRs in memory, programmable RESET level and double or single plane operation. The fifth one is no-glue microcontroller interface which means programmable memory map, programmable control signals, built-in address control signals and integrated address decoder. The sixth one is special function registers which means port latch read/write and port pin read. The seventh one is it would have low power CHMOS-II-E which would be TTL compatible. The last one is 40 pin DIP and 44 lead PLCC. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of 87C75PF have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its read operating temperature which would be from 0°C to +70°C.
