The 7660CBA is short for ICL7660CBA, it is one member of the ICL7660 family which designed as the monolithic CMOS power supply circuit that offers unique performance advantages over previously available devices. It performs supply voltage conversions from positive to negative for an input range of +1.5V to +10.0V resulting in complementary output voltages of -1.5V to -10.0V and the ICL7660A does the same conversions with an input range of +1.5V to +12.0V resulting in complementary output voltages of -1.5V to -12.0V.Also it can be used in on board negative supply for dynamic RAMs, localized processor (8080 Type) negative supplies, inexpensive negative supplies and data acquisition systems of the 7660CBA.
