The high speed unity gain buffer 6424 slew at 800 V/uS and have a small signal bandwidth of 50MHz while driving a 50 Ohm load. They can drive +300mA peak and do not oscillate while driving large capacitive loads. The 6424 is a monolithic IC which offers performance similar to the LH0002 with additional features of current limit and thermal shutdown. This buffer is built with National's VIP (Vertically Integrated PNP) process which provides fast PNP transistors that are true complements to the already fast NPN devices.
This advanced junction-isolated process of 6424 delivers high speed performance without the need for complex and expensive dielectric isolation.
