The 54AC11245 has the following features including 3-State Outputs Drive Bus Lines Directly;Flow-Through Architecture Optimizes;PCB Layout;Center-Pin Vcc and GND Configurations Minimize High-Speed Switching Noise.
These octal bus transceivers 54AC11245 are designed for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. The control function implementation minimizes external timing requirements. The 54AC11245 allow data transmission from the A bus to the B bus, or from the B bus to the A bus, depending upon the logic level at the direction control (DIR) input. The enable input(G)can be used to disable the 54AC11245 so that the buses are effectively isolated. Stresses beyond those listed under "absolute maximum ratings" may cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only and functional operation of the 54AC11245 at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under "recommended operating conditions" is not implied. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.
