40A cell series

      The 40A cell series with voltage range from 50 to 1000 Volts wnd current of 40 Amperes.
      This 40A cell series have four features.The first one is that it would have low cost.The second one is that it would have high surge capability.The third one is that it would have solderable electrode surface.The fourth one is that 40A cell series would be ideal for hybrids.That are all its features.Also its mechanical data is about its polarity which means bottom or upper electrode denotes cathode according to the notice in package.
      Some maximum ratings and electrical characteristics of the 40A cell series have been concluded into several points as follow which would be tested at 25°C unless otherwise specified and single phase,half wave,50 Hz,resistive or inductive load and for capacitive load,derate current by 20%.The first one is about its maximum average forward rectified current @ Ta=55°C which would be 40 A.The second one is about the peak forward surge current of the 40A cell series(8.3ms single half sine-wave superimposed on rated load) which would be 500 A.The third one is about the maximum instantaneous forward voltage of the 40A cell series(at rated forward current) which would be 1.0 V.The fourth one is about its maximum DC reverse current(at rated DC blocking voltage) which would be 5 uA when Ta is 25°C and would be 500 uA when Ta is 150°C.The fifth one is about its typical junction capacitance element which would be 300 pF.The sixth one is about the typical thermal resistance of the 40A cell series which would be 1 °C/W.The seventh one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -55 to +150°C.The last one is about its storge temperature range which would be from -55 to +150°C.
      Three notes should have attention.The first one is that the data of the 40A cell series is measured at 1.0 MHz and applied reverse volage of 4.0 V DC.The second one is when mounted to heat sink from body.The third one is thermal resistance from junction to ambient.That are all the notes.
