Its water cooled anode is conservatively rated for 3.0 kW of plate dissipation with low water flow and pressure drop. This tube is a version of the air cooled 3CX2500D3 and is recommended for industrial applications where reserve anode dissipation is required. Input of 8.1 kW is permissible up to 110 MHz. Plentiful reserve emission is available from its 232.5 watt filament. The grid structure is rated at 75 watts, making this tube an excellent choice for industrial service.
