The 2SC3732 is designed for general purpose amplifier and high speed switching applications. The 2SC3732 has 3 features including high frequency current gain;high speed switching;small output capacitance.
The absolute maximun ratings of the 2SC3732 at Ta=25°C having Collector to Base Voltage VCBO is 40 V;Collector to Emitter Voltage VCEO is 40 V;Emitter to Base Voltage VEBO is 15 V;Collector Current IC is 200 mA;maximum tempertatures including Junction temperature is 150°C maximum;Storage temperature is -55 to +150°C ;maximum power dissipation(Ta=25°C) comprising total power dissipation is 250 mW etc.
The ATA/ATAPI port of the 2SC3732 is connected to a mass storage device. A 4-Kbyte buffer maximizes ATA/ATAPI data transfer rates by minimizing losses due to device seek times. The ATA interface supports ATA PIO modes 0, 3, and 4, and Ultra DMA modes 2 and 4.
Intersils new ICL32XX family utilizes regulated on-chip dual charge pumps as voltage doublers, and voltage inverters to generate 5.5V transmitter supplies from a VCC supply as low as 3.0V. This allows these devices to maintain RS-232 compliant output levels over the 10% tolerance range of 3.3V powered systems. The efficient on-chip power supplies require only four small, external 0.1µF capacitors for the voltage doubler and inverter functions at VCC = 3.3V. See the Capacitor Selection section, and Table 3 for capacitor recommendations for other operating conditions. The charge pumps operate discontinuously (i.e., they turn off as soon as the V+ and V- supplies are pumped up to the nominal values), resulting in significant power savings.
The 2SC3732 has several pinouts, these PIN / Preamplifier combinations are coupled into a custom quantizer IC which provides the final pulse shaping for the logic output and the Signal Detect function. The data output is differential. The signal detect output is single-ended.The signal current at the input flows into the summing node of a high-gain amplifier. Shunt feedback through the resistor RF converts this current to a voltage. In par- allel with the feedback are two back-to-back Schottky diodes that clamp the output signal for large input cur- rents as shown in Figure 2.Enable Pin Applying a voltage of 0.4V or less at the Enable pin will disable the output, reducing the quiescent output current to less than 1µA, while a voltage of 2.0V or greater will enable the device. If this shutdown function is not needed, the pin can simply be connected to the VIN pin. Allowing this pin to float will cause erratic operation.
