The  2N4199  is asilicon controlled rectifiers ,reverse blocking triode thyristors,fast switching,high-voltage thyristors especially designed for pulse modulator applications in radar and other similar equipment.

Features of the  2N4199 are:(1)cuaranteed limits on all critial parameters ; (2)high-voltage:Vdrm=300 to 800 volts; (3)maximum turu-on times speclfied 300 to 400ns; (4)repetitive pulse current to 100 amperes; (5)stable swiitching charactristics over an operating temperature range from -65~105; (6)pulse repetition rates as high as 20,000 pps; (7)JAN versions available.
