The 26LS32 is designed as a quad line receiver to meet all of the requirements of RS-422 and RS-423 and federak standards 1020 and 1030 for balanced and unbalanced digital data transmission. It features an input senstivity of +/-200mV over the common mode input range of +/-7V.
26LS32 has nine features. (1)Input voltage range of 30V differential. (2)+/-0.2V sensitivity over the input voltage range of -7V to +7V. (3)6k minimum input impedance. (4)60mV input hysteresis. (5)It meets all the requirements of RS-422 and RS-423. (6)Operation from single +5V. (7)Fail safe input-output relationship. Output always high when inputs are open. (8)Three-state drive, with choice of complementary output enables, for receiving directly onto a data bus. (9)Three-state outputs disabled during power up and power down. Those are all the main features.
