Description

The Microchip Technology Inc. 24LC64 is a 64 Kbit electrically Erasable PROM. The device is organized as a single block of 8K x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. Low-voltage design permits operation down to 2.5V, with standby and active currents of only 1 A and 1 mA, respectively. It has been developed for advanced, lowpower applications such as personal communicationsor data acquisition. The 24LC64 also has a page writecapability for up to 32 bytes of data. Functional addresslines allow up to eight devices on the same bus, for upto 512 Kbits address space. The 24LC64 is available inthe standard 8-pin PDIP, surface mount SOIC, TSSOP,DFN, TDFN and MSOP packages. The 24LC64 is alsoavailable in the 5-lead SOT-23 package.

The Microchip Technology Inc. 24AA64/24LC64 (24xx64*) is a 8K x 8 (64K bit) Serial Electrically Eras-able PROM capable of operation across a broad volt-age range (1.8V to 5.5V). It has been developed for advanced, low power applications such as personal communications or data acquisition. This device also has a page-write capability of up to 32 bytes of data.

24LC64 is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 64K boundary. Functional address lines allow up to eight devices on the same bus, for up to 512 Kbits address space. This device is available in the standard 8-pin plastic DIP, 8-pin SOIC (150 and 208 mil), and 8-pin TSSOP.
