Description

The 24LC32AT is designed as a 4Kx8 (32Kbit) serial electrically erasable PROM capable of operation across a broad voltage range (2.5V to 6.0V). It has been developed for advanced, low power applications such as personal communications or data acquisition. It also has a page-write capability of up to 32 bytes of data. 24LC32AT is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 32K boundary.

24LC32AT has many features. (1)Single supply with operation down to 2.5V which means maximum write current 3 mA at 6.0V and standby current 1uA max at 2.5V. (2)2-wire serial interface bus, I2C compatible. (3)100kHz (2.5V) and 400kHz (5V) compatibility. (4)Self-timed ERASE and WRITE cycles. (5)Power on/off data protection circuitry. (6)Hardware write protect. (7)1,000,000 erase/write cycles guaranteed. (8)32 byte page or byte write modes available. (9)Schmitt trigger filtered inputs for noise suppression. (10)Output slope control to eliminate ground bounce. (11)Output slope control to eliminate ground bounce. (12)2ms typical write cycle time, byte or page. And so on.

Some absolute maximum ratings of 24LC32AT have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its Vcc would be 7.0V. (2)Its all inputs and outputs w.r.t Vss would be from -0.6V to Vcc+1.0V. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C. (4)Its ambient temperature with power applied would be from -65°C to 125°C. (5)Its soldering temperature of leads 10 seconds would be 300°C. (6)Its ESD protection on all pins would be min 4kV. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of 24LC32AT are concluded as follow. (1)Its high level input voltage would be min 0.7Vcc. (2)Its low level input voltage would be max 0.3Vcc.
