The 1N825UR is designed as one kind of surface mount zero-TC reference diodes provides a selection of both 6.2V and 6.55V nominal voltages and temperature coefficients to as low as 0.0005%/°C for mininal voltage change with temperature when operated at 7.5mA. These glass surface mount DO-213AA (MELF) reference diodes are optionally available with an internal-metallurgical-bond by adding a "-1" suffix.
The six features of the 1N825UR. (1)Surface mount equivalent of JEDEC registered. (2)Internal metallurgical bond option available by adding a "-1" suffix. (3)Reference voltage selection of 6.2V & 6.55V +/-5% with further tight tolerance options at lower voltage. (4)It has surface mount qualification to MIL-PRF-19500/159 by adding the JAN, JANTX, or JANTXV prefixes to part numbers as well as the "-1" suffix. (4)Axial-leaded equivalents of the 1N825UR also available in DO-35 or DO-7 without the UR suffix including military qualifications up to JANS for DO-7. (5)JANs equivalent available in DO-213AA via SCD. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of the 1N825UR have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its operating temperature range would be from -65°C to 175°C. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 175°C. (3)Its DC power dissipation would be 500mW at Tl=25°C and maximum current Izm of 70mA. Note: for optimum voltage-temperature stability, Iz=7.5mA (less than 50mW in dissipated power). (4)Solder temperatures of the 1N825UR is 260°C for 10 seconds max. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of the 1N825UR are concluded as follow. (1)Its zener voltage would be 5.9V to 6.5V. (2)Its zener test current would be 7.5mA. (3)Its maximum zener impedance would be 15ohms. (4)The maximum reverse current of the 1N825UR would be 2.0uA at 3V. (5)Its voltage temperature stability would be 19mV. (6)Its efficiency temperature coefficient would be 0.002%/°C. And so on. If you have any question or suggestion or want to know more information please contact us for details. Thank you!
