The 1N4735A is designed asone member of the 1N4728A thru 1N4764A series which are silicon 1W zener diodes.
This 1N4735A series have three features. (1) Voltage would be from 3.3 V through 100 V. (2) Hermetic glass package. (3) Consult factory for voltages over 100V. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of 1N4735A have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its junction and storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +200°C. (2) Power dissipation at Tl=100°C would be 1.0W. (3) Its power derating from 100°C would be 10mW/°C. (4) Its Tl would be lead temperature at 3/8' from body. That are all the main ratings. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics about 1N4735A. (1) Its zener voltage would be 6.2V. Voltage measurements to be performed 90 seconds after application of DC current. (2) Its test current Izt would be 41mA. (3) Its maximum dynamic impedance would be 2 ohms. The zener impedance is derived from the 60Hz ac rms value equal to 10% of the DC zener current is superimposed on Izt or Izk.
