The 194-2MS is designed as side actuated, through hole DIP switch. It is premium gold plated contacts.
194-2MS has three features. (1)Optimized mechanical features which means enclosed actuators shield contacts from foreign particles throughout life of switch and standard 2.54mm (.100") x 7.62mm (.300") DIP centers. (2)Optimized contact system which means contact wiping action on make and break, integral terminal and contact locked into high temperature plastic base, lock-over-center design provides positive detent action and optimized, active contact design incorporating a dimple-to-flat surface wiping interface with high contact force. (3)Materials would mean gold plated contacts for long-term contact corrosion resistance, tin plated terminals for better solderability, All UL 94V-0 plastics used and RoHS compliant. That are all the main features.
Some electrical and mechanical specifications of 194-2MS have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its switch function would be SPST-2 through 10 and 12 positions. (2)Its switch contact resistance would be 50 milliohms for initial max and 100 milliohms for end of life max. (3)Its insulation resistance would be 1000 megohms minimum between insulated terminals. (4)Its dielectric strength would be 500Vac for 1 minute between adjacent switches. (5)Its nonswitching rating would be 100mA or 50Vdc maximum. (6)Its switch capacitance would be 5.0pF maximum between adjacent closed switches. (7)Its operating temperature would be from -40°C to +85°C. (8)Its actuation life would be 7000 cycles switching 50mA at 24Vdc. (9)Its allowable solder time would be wave soldering up to 5 seconds at 260°C. (10)Its vibration would be per MIL-STD-202F, method 204D, condition B (.06" or 15G'S between 10Hz to 2KHz) with no contact inconsistencies greater than 1 microsecond. (11)Its shock would be per MIL-STD-202F, method 213B, condition A (25G'S) with no contact inconsistencies greater than 1 microsecond. (12)Its sealing would be bottom epoxy seal standard and top tape seal optional. (13)Its marking would be special side or top marking available-consult CTS. (14)Its packaging would be standard: anti-static tube packaging. And so on. If you have any question or suggestion or want to know more information about 194-2MS please contact us for details.
