The 1024 Series family of image sensors features the CCPD architecture which combines the best features of CCD and photodiode technology. The CCD readout structure allows high speed, low noise operation. The photodiode sensing elements provide superior light sensitivity, especially in the blue and near UV spectrum range.

The Standard device is the nominal component of the D Series family. 1024 operates at data rates up to 10 MHz,has 13 m x 13 m pixels, and features very high dynamic range. The Wide Aperture device is a wide-aperture version featuring 13 m x 26 m pixels for higher photo sensitivity.
