Transistorized double-conversion f-m superhet, tunable by crystal substitution in 457-462-Mc band, has 6-microvolt sensitivity for 20 db of noise quieting. Camera start and timing pulses are amplitude-modulated onto 3.5 and 12-kc carriers. After signal is detected, subcarriers are separated and pulses ore re constituted by decoder.
