Uses two transistors and controlled positive feedback along with temperature compensation to reduce output resistance to zero while holding output voltage constant. Also gives some current overload protection. Values shown provide 1 amp at 9 v.-G. Duggan, Zero Impedance Voltage Regulator, EEE, 11:5, p 91-92.
