This circuit uses one section of an XR-13600 (Fig.11-1B) to form a timer or one-shot that draws no current from the supply until it is triggered. The trigger must be at least 2V, and the output is 7 ms with the values shown, EXAR Corporation Databook 1990 p 5-256
