Constant-amplitude sawtooth from timebase of display unit is fed to one control grid of Schmitt trigger V1, whose output triggers one-shot mvbr to produce gating pulse 0.1 millisec wide that also identifies strobed channel on crt by brightening trace c-d that point.-A.
