Allows millivolt d-c voltages to be measured accurately with ordinary average-reading vtvm. Neon lamps are fired alternately by rectified 60-cps line voltage, causing Clairex photocells to alternate between low und high resistance states and thereby chop d-c input voltage being measured.-I.
