Uses JFET biased slightly below pinchoff in combination with micropower opamp to convert zero-temperature-coefficient drain current to correspondingly stable reference voltage. Additional JFET J2 makes operation independent of value of unregulated input. Output impedance is low. For higher output impedance, reference voltage can be taken from wiper of R2, but buffering could then be required.
