DigitaI input to multiplying digital-to-analog converter determines load current in range of 4 to 20 mA with 15.6-μA resolution. R1 adjusts ratio of full-scale to zero-scale current at output 1 of MDAC and R3 sets circuit offset and span to give correct end-range currents for load. Maximum load compliance is 25 V.
