Battery-operate d circuit shown gives adequate stability for strain-gage bridge. Uses four alkaline penlight cells to provide ±3 V for 741 opamp. E1 is chosen to give adequate voltage for intended load at maximum load current. Temperature stability is 0.7 μA/℃ from 0 to 50℃. -R.
