Works with any transmitter, regardless of type of keying. Use any good PNP transistor. With NPN transistor, reverse connections to diode. Frequency of tone gets higher as resistance of 250K pot is reduced.Monitor is turned off at minimum resistance.Enough RF to operate monitor can be obtained simply by connecting it to chassis of receiver or transmitter.-J.
