Although not calibrated on absolute basis, either 3 dB or 10 dB of attenuation can be switched in with S1 for measuring purposes. Internal ad justments are made easily by tacking 51-ohm resistor temporarily across input, then driving input with step attenuator fed with audio power at -10 dB by generator having 50-ohm pad in its output.
