Electronically programmed timer using an Intersil 8240/50/60 16-pin DIP. This circuit uses a standard 54/74 series TTL 4-bit magnitude comparator to compare the digitally programmed input with the 8240/50/60 counter outputs. The greater, less-than and equal waveforms provide several outputs to choose from. An external start pulse triggers the timer and the A<B output is used as a reset (courtesy Intersil, Inc.).
