Hysteresis of Schmitt trigger (difference between turn-on und turnoff signal levels) is adjusted with negative feedback instead of positive, lo reduce hysteresis to less than 1 my. Trigger point can be adjusted above or below ground reference despite use of only one power supply. Modification of negative feedback causes dutycycle-controllable oscillation.
