The effect of thermal components and the over-voltage protection components: they can provide current protection against over strong current which may damage the FET and current battery pack. When the polarity is inversed, the thermal components PTC will work to limit overcurrent. the overcurrent is generated by Zener diodes. When over-voltage components provide protection for the overloaded voltage by the components limiting the conduction current to acheive protection.
