Automaticgain control circuit. The AD531 programmable multiplier/divider maintains a 3-volt peak-to-peak output for inputs from 0.1 volt to over 12 volts with 2% regulation for the range from 0.4 volt peak to peak to 6 volts peak to peak. The input frequency can range from 30 hertz to 400 hertz (courtesy Analog Devices, Inc.).
