A 741 op amp acts as an audio amplifier and frequency-modulates VHF oscillator Q1 via varactor D2. L1 is 2.5 turns of #18 wire on a 5/16,-inch-diameter form. The turn spacing can be varied to adjust the transmitter frequency. '
