Current proportional to input voltage is balanced via periodic charging of C1 to precisely repeatable voltage by opamp A1 and FET Q1. With values shown, nominal scale factor is 10 kHz/V, Input of0 to 1 V gives output of 10 to 10,000 Hz with better than 0.05% linearity. Article gives operating details and design equations.-W. S.
