Uses only two transistors. Suitable for both two-phase and three-phase applications. Basic circuits can be connected in series for high-voltage operation. Maximum transistor off voltage equals input voltage of half-bridge, making 80-v inverter practical for germanium transistors and 150 v for silicon.-A. G.
