Consists essentially of Texas Instruments TIL 139 source/sensor assembly and common 75140 line receiver. Applications include response to reflected or interrupted light. With 5-V supply, output is at standard TTL levels. To make sensitivity adjustable, insert 500-ohm pot between R1 and R2.
