As shown in the figure, the circuit can work normally under the cases of unknown polarity of the voltage or power supply polaritybeing reversed or not. Being same with DC driver, the current limiting resistor values of R can de decided by the following formula when it is used as AC driver: In the formula, ERMS is the effective value of AC voltage.
