Conventional photoflash trigger circuit R-C-T2 gives reliable starting for lamp currents down to 1 ma. High-voltage trigger pulse is applied to foil strip or wire loop going around lamp.Transistor can be 2N1047, with resistance values chosen to provide required d-c operating voltages.-L. L.
