Driver Q1 is low-power device with fast switching time, while power transistor Q2 handles power dissipation and amperes of current being switched. Used in TTL circuits requiring fast solid-state switches having known and repeatable switching times. Cur-rent reaches maximum in about 50 ns.-C.
