Circuit uses no large output capacitors yet has good response as constant-voltage or constant-current source.LM395 units (7 in parallel) act as current-limited thermally limited high-gain power transistor.Mount all on same heatsink for good current sharing, since 300 W will be dissipated under worst-case conditions.
