This circuit uses two sections of an XR-13600 (Fig. 11-1b) to form a tachometer or frequency-to-voltage converter. The input is triggered by a positive-going waveform. The maximum FIN is limited by the time required to charge Ct from VL to VH with a current of IB, where VL and VH represent the maximum-low and maximum-high output voltage swing of the XR-13600.
