Uses FET-input opanlp to amplify differential signals while rejecting common-mode signals. Gain is set at 52 dB by ratio of R3 to R1. Input resistors R1 and R2 are made large compared to source impedance while being kept as small as possible, for optimum balance between input loading effects and low noise. Good compromise value is 10 times source impedance for R1 + R2.- Audio Handbook, National Semiconductor, Santa Clara, CA, 1977, p 2-37-2-40.
